It was a sweet day Friday as a bake sale benefitted a McDuffie County Sheriff’s Office deputy.
More than 150 donations of goodies and monetary donations were made for Dep. Kalvin Johnson who is recovering from recent surgery.
The Nov. 1 event, at Queensborough Bank on West Hill Street, saw several table covered with lots of treats, and members of the sheriff’s office helping sweet buyers.
