• Biker flees traffic stop, still free after manhunt
By Linda Green

Area law enforcement departments are still seeking the man who fled a traffic stop and was the focus of a manhunt on Monday evening.
Shortly after 5 p.m., Harlem Police Officer Brian Williams attempted to stop a motorcyclist leaving a suspected drug area on Gordon Highway, near Lamkin Road.
According to Gary Jones, chief of the Harlem Department of Public Safety, the westbound man, later identified as William “Ike” Marlow of 58 South Gibson Road in Warrenton, failed to stop and Harlem police pursued him into McDuffie County on County Line Road and Old White Oak Road. Marlow wrecked his 1995 Kawasaki in Dearing and then fled on foot.
