• Four charged with burglary in theft from storage shed
By Linda Green

Four Thomson individuals were charged with burglary and theft for removing items from a storage shed on Thursday.
The Thomson Police Department responded to the storage buildings off Bussey Avenue about the theft of nearly $4,000 worth of household and personal items from a storage shed.
According to Police Captain Jamie Bridges, an investigation revealed that a previous renter of the shed took the items from the shed.
Bridges said that Jean Prather, 48, of the 1500 block of Washington Road, who had previously rented the shed, returned to the shed approximately three weeks after her rental agreement had expired and the shed had been rented to Shawanda Evans.
“When she returned, she found it full of someone else’s belonging,” Bridges said.
