A team of Dogs recently went for fun, sun and wet, but now, it’s time for fun, sun and sweat.
The Thomson-McDuffie Middle School Bulldogs recently traveled to Helen for a tubing trip.
The get-away was a runway to the 2013 season that kicks off with a scrimmage, Thursday, Aug. 22 when it hosts Burke County in a scrimmage. On Aug. 29, the Dogs host Louisville as the real games get underway.
Brian Usry, head coach, said this season will be fun.
“We get to open up with a home scrimmage against Burke County,” said the coach. “So, we have to be ready to play our best game right out of the gate.”
Usry said he believes the Bulldogs’ defense will be tough.
