McDuffie County schools got off to a good start Friday.
Jim LeBrun, McDuffie County School superintendent, said there were a few glitches which were normal with the beginning of a new year
“We have a few bus glitches and traffic glitches, but nothing major,” he said Monday afternoon. “We had new bus routes for Dearing, but that went amazingly well.”
LeBrun said that he didn’t have hard numbers as far as attendance goes.
“The first couple of days there is some fluctuation and so we won’t have any hard numbers until after Labor Day,” said the superintendent, adding that numbers appeared to be up a little, especially at the elementary schools.
