• Infinity dealership opens, company unveils Q50

Augusta-area business leaders gathered Thursday, July 19, for the grand opening and ribbon cutting at Infinity of Augusta.
Damon Ferguson, general manager, welcomed the crowd and explained how his family has been in the car business for 29 years. The owner of Infinity of Augusta is his father, Andrew Ferguson.
He explained how his father was the first generation in the car business and thanked him for helping shape the business.
Next, the new Infinity Q50 hybrid was unveiled. It will first go on sale Aug. 5.
Terry Hoffman, a national representative for Infinity, provided details about the new car and its attributes.
“We’re extremely excited about this vehicle,” Hoffman said.
It will be available in rear wheel drive and all wheel drive configurations. The one unveiled at Infinity of Augusta was an all-wheel drive hybrid.
