Neal Eugene Clark
Neal Eugene Clark, 73, of Wrens Hwy. in Thomson, Ga., entered into rest on July 9, 2013.
Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. on Mon., July 15, at Mt. Olive Memorial Gardens in Hephzibah, Ga. with Rev. Phil Bray officiating.
Mr. Clark was born in Jersey Shore, Pa. to the late George Clark and the late Charlotte Pauline Hillyard Clark. He was retired from the U.S. Army and served during Vietnam. Mr. Clark was also retired as a security guard from Arcadia Corp.
Survivors include his son, Glenn Clark of Thomson; daughter, Kelly A. Snyder of Augusta; and seven grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 4 until 6 p.m. on Sun., July 14, at the funeral home.
Beggs Funeral Home, Thomson, Ga., is in charge of arrangements.

Anna L. Dunn
Anna L. Dunn, of Appling, entered into rest on Wed., July 10, 2013.
Funeral arrangements are being handled by W. H. Mays Mortuary of Augusta.

Charles Gibbons, Sr.
Major Charles Allen Gibbons, Sr., 61, of Louisville, entered into rest on Sat., July 6, 2013.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thurs., July 11, at Stone Springfield A.M.E. Church of Stapleton. Interment will be in Sugar Hill Cemetery in Wrens.
Garrer Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.

Gordon Snellings
Gordon Snellings, of Lincolnton, husband of Adelia Buice Snellings, entered into rest on Sat., July 6, 2013.
Memorial services were held on Wed., July 10, at American Legion Post #194.
The family received friends on Tues., July 9, at Beggs Funeral Home in Lincolnton.

Violet Blanchard Sparks
Violet Blanchard Sparks went to be with the Lord on July 11, 2013.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Sat., July 13, in the Chapel at Warren Baptist Church, 3203 Washington Road, Augusta, Ga., with Rev. Dave Dillard and Rev. Bill Bufton officiating. Burial will follow in Sallie Hill Cemetery, Warrenton, Ga.
Mrs. Sparks was the beloved daughter of the late Dr. and Mrs. Pierce Gordon Blanchard. She was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Francis Linton Sparks, Jr.; and her daughter, Vicki Lyn Sparks. Mrs. Sparks is survived by her daughter, Kathryn Sparks Connell and her son, Francis Linton Sparks III (Bubba); two sisters, Louise Blanchard Bennett and Carole Blanchard Davis; and many nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Sparks retired from the CSRA Planning & Development Commission in 1993. She was a member of Warren Baptist Church and Lady Lakers. She loved the Lord with all her heart and is remembered as a devoted mother and a warm, kind, and compassionate friend. Mrs. Sparks loved to play bridge and she enjoyed being with her family.
The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Beggs Funeral Home in Thomson, Ga. on Fri., July 12.

Dennis Wynn
Dennis Wynn, of Stapleton, entered into rest on Thurs., July 4, 2013.
Funeral services were held on Wed., July 10, at Stone Springfield A.M.E. Church in Stapleton. Burial was in the church cemetery.
Burnett Funeral Home of Wrens handled the arrangements.
