A new synthetic drug aimed at teens that is reported to incite bizarre behavior and violence and is deemed to be more powerful than other known designer drugs is slowly trekking across the country.
“It is in St. Louis and in Louisiana and you can be sure that it will eventually get here,” said McDuffie County Sheriff’s Major Ronnie Williamson.
The sheriff’s office has received alerts from the DEA about the new hallucinogenic drug with the street names of N-Bomb, C-Bomb, Smiles, Legal Acid or 251.
“Its name N-Bomb, comes from its compound or formula,” Williamson said of the new drug that it similar to LSD and is often taken as a nose drop or placed on the tongue.
“From all indications, this is a very dangerous and potent drug and parents should be aware of it,” the major said.
