• Cadets dodge, duck, dip, dive, and dodge

Thomson High School’s NJROTC cadets faced off Wednesday afternoon to see who would be eliminated. They ducked, dodged and took aim during the group’s annual dodge ball tournament.
Gunnery Sgt. Larry Dunn, one of the THS NJROTC instructors, said some past graduates came back and played in the tournament with the current cadets. Last year was the first year of the tournament, which Dunn said is done just so the students can have a little fun.
“This is just to have fun. They get to let out a little bit of energy they’ve been holding throughout the school year,” said Dunn. “And as you can see, it’s a very entertaining game and event.
