Charlotte Campfield thought she was attending a regular meeting of her Masonic women’s group on Saturday afternoon but she was truly surprised once the meeting was underway.
Club 95, the Heroines of Jericho and affiliates of the Eastern Stars from across the CSRA gave their sister a roast of appreciation for her work on behalf of the elderly and for founding the Silver Foxes, a group of women 65 and older who perform outreach and participate in adventure and for her statewide work in the Masonic organization.
Campfield, a surgical technician at University Hospital McDuffie, was recognized at the Masonic Temple with food, laughter, an award and fundraising.
