Briarwood Academy was shut out at home Tuesday in just three innings as they lost to Windsor Academy 17-0.
“We looked like a team that had a week off from playing,” said Briarwood Coach Bo Fleming. “We made several errors in the field which lead to a long day.”
Windsor opened by putting five runs on the board in the first inning. The Knights then added seven runs in the second inning and five in the third. Dalton Banks provided the Bucs’ sole hit of the game.
“They are a very good team and you can't expect to compete with them with the way we played,” Fleming said.
