The Diamond Dogs had a three-game winning streak snapped and lost two non-region games this week.
On Monday, the Bulldogs lost 20-7 to Westside at Bulldog Field.
The Dogs, down 15-2 in the fourth inning, were facing a mercy rule ending, but scored five runs in the fourth inning.
“Even though we couldn’t catch them, we didn’t lay down and quit,” said Aaron Hall, Thomson head coach.
Westside scored five runs in the sixth and THS could only muster a single run and the game ended.
The Bulldogs used five pitchers, with Drake Widener taking the loss for Thomson.
