Elizabeth Huff Abbott, 87, of Warrenton, wife of the late Julian W. Abbott, died on Sat., April 6, 2013.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thurs., April 11, at First United Methodist Church of Warrenton. Burial will be in Johnson Cemetery. Mrs. Abbott will lie in state one hour prior to funeral services at the church.
Lowe Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
Minnie Lee Bussell, 97, of Gibson, entered into rest on Fri., April 5, 2013.
Memorial services will be held on Thurs., April 11, at 2 p.m. at Bethlehem Baptist Church & Cemetery in Warthen. The family will receive friends after the services.

Funeral services for Bessie Pearl Davis, 89, of Thomson, will be held on Wed., April 10, 2013, at 11 a.m. at Mt. Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church in Thomson. Interment will be in Westview Cemetery.

Marial Momom Jones, of Lincolnton, wife of the late Lawson Jones, entered into rest on Sun., April 7, 2013.
Funeral services will be held on Sat., April 13, at 1 p.m. at Mulberry C.M.E. Church & Cemetery in Lincolnton.
Viewings will be held on Thursday from 5-8 p.m. at W. H. Mays Mortuary of Augusta and on Friday from 12-8 p.m. at Wright and Jones Funeral Home of Lincolnton.
Myrtice Rowland Poss, 90, of Lincolnton, entered into rest on Mon., April 8, 2013.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Thurs., April 11, at Bethany United Methodist Church. Interment will be in New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery.
Visitation was held on Wed., April 10, at Rees Funeral Home.
Theodore Lewis Reese, 81, of Ridge Rd. in Thomson, Ga., entered into rest on April 7, 2013.
Funeral services were held at 12 o’clock noon on Tues., April 9, 2013 in the Chapel of Beggs Funeral Home with Rev. Tim Ferrell officiating. Interment followed in Savannah Valley Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers were Tim Johnson, Jeff Johnson, Tony Meadows, Don Reese, Wayne Reese and Trapper Reese.
Mr. Reese was a lifelong resident of McDuffie County, Ga. and was the son of the late Roland Reese and the late Susie Edmunds Reese. He served in the U.S. Army and served in the U.S. Army National Guard for 28 years. Mr. Reese worked many years at National Homes, Uniroyal and Lily Tulip. He was a Baptist by faith.
Survivors include his wife, Louise Reese; daughters, Jan Bailey and husband Jim of Sugar Hill, Sandy Meadows and husband Sam, and Patricia Reese, all of Thomson; grandchildren, Tim Johnson, Jeff Johnson, Tony Meadows, Austin Meadows, Lee Bailey and Wes Bailey; numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
The family received friends from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m. at the funeral home.
Beggs Funeral Home, Thomson, Ga., was in charge of the arrangements.
