Thomson and the Dodge County Indians battled to the 8th inning before the Indians took a 5-4 victory Tuesday night at Bulldog Field.
Hunter Bragg swatted a home run in the fifth inning to tie the game at four, but the Indians pushed another run across in the top of the eighth and THS could not answer back.
“They gave as much effort as they have in any game this year,” said Aaron Hall, THS head coach. “If we play every game like we did last night, we would be fine.”
Both teams got off to a slow start, but the home team scored three runs in the fourth, and Dodge crossed the plate four times in the sixth.
