Roy Hair, Jr., 44, of Harlem, entered into rest on Sun., March 31, 2013.
Funeral services are being handled by Starling Funeral Home.

George V. Kitchens
Funeral services for George V. Kitchens, 83, of Harlem, who entered into rest on March 28, 2013, will be held on Sat., March 30, at 12 noon at Morningside Baptist Church. Interment will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Fri., March 29, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Posey Funeral Directors in North Augusta.

Prince A. Morgan
Funeral services for Prince Albert Morgan, 71, of Syracuse, N.Y., will be held on Sat., March 30, 2013, at 4 p.m. at Mt. Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church in Thomson. Interment will be in the church cemetery.
Thomson Funeral System is handling the arrangements.

Mildred T. Pitstick
Mildred T. “Millie” Pitstick, 77, of North Courtland Drive in Thomson, Ga., entered into rest on March 29, 2013 at University Hospital.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. on Mon., April 1, at the First United Methodist Church in Thomson with Rev. John Barnes officiating. Interment followed in Savannah Valley Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers were: Tony Hadden, Dewayne Rabun, Alan Childs, Steve Taylor, Johnny Robinson and Steve Gunby. Honorary pallbearers were: Dalton Taylor, Jack Smith and Jim Hicks, Sr.
Mrs. Pitstick was born in Thomson, Ga. and was the daughter of the late Carl D. Thomas and the late Mary Newsome Thomas. She graduated from Warren County High School in 1953 and attended Georgia College for Women in Milledgeville, Ga. Mrs. Pitstick retired from National Homes, Inc. with 27 years of service and then became a partner with Residential Investors. She was a member of First United Methodist Church of Thomson. Mrs. Pitstick enjoyed gardening, working puzzles, reading and the outdoors. She was a faithful and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother and loved spending time with her family.
Survivors include her beloved husband, David L. Pitstick; daughters, Mary Kate Johnson, Lora Hadden and husband Tony, all of Thomson, Ga.; sister, Pauline Neal-Tobar and husband Julio of Miami, Fla.; sister-in-law, Cheryl Thomas of Gray, Ga.; grandchildren, Ashley Lucas, Crystal Rabun, Kenneth Hadden; great grandchildren, Haley Gunby and Macie Anne Rabun; stepchildren, Katharine Ann DeMars of Wichita Falls, Texas, Michael D. Pitstick and wife Beverly of Auburn, Wash. and Patsy Wilson of Griffin, Ga.; and step grandchildren, Matthew Wilson and Adrienne Wilson. Mrs. Pitstick was preceded in death by her brother, Jerald D. Thomas.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
Friends may call at the residence, 1577 N. Courtland Drive, Thomson, Ga. Visitation was held from 5 until 7 p.m. on Sun., March 31, at the funeral home.
Beggs Funeral Home, 799 Cobbham Road, Thomson, Ga., was in charge of arrangements.

Jimmie Burton Sweatman, 87, of Harlem, entered into rest on Sun., March 31, 2013.
Funeral services are being handled by Starling Funeral Home.

Barbara Upton
Memorial services for Barbara Ann Neal Upton, 71, of Gibson, will be held on Tues., April 2, 2013, at 2 p.m. at Piney Grove Baptist Church in Gibson.
Freeman Funeral Home of Wrens is handling the arrangements.
