With rifle-like precision Jarrett Keen fired the ball home from centerfield just in time for catcher Dalton Banks to make the tag and end the game, giving Briarwood Academy it’s first baseball win since 2011.
The Bucs defeated Covenant Academy 9-6 Friday afternoon on Briarwood’s field.
“I was happy for them. We hadn’t won in such a long time,” said Briarwood Coach Kevin Cowart. “We executed plays at the right time and we made plays when we needed to.”
