• Former Thomson chief now head of campus safety at Paine

The former Thomson Police Chief has been hired as chief of campus safety at Paine College in Augusta.
Joseph D. Nelson, who resigned as chief on May 14, 2012 after two years at the helm, was hired to lead the school’s security on March 8.
