• Man jailed for stealing sink base

A Dearing man faces a $1,050 bond for taking a commercial sink base from a location on Howard Road in McDuffie County.
Larry Adaway, an investigator with the McDuffie County Sheriff's Office, obtained an arrest warrant for John W. McKinney, 48, after investigating the Feb. 28 theft of a $600 commercial sink base from 366 Howard Road.
