• Woman arrested for abandoning child

A Hephzibah woman has been arrested for allegedly abandoning her child in McDuffie County. A private citizen obtained a warrant calling for the arrest of Dolly E. Byrd of the 2400 block of Cougar Court on Sept. 28, 2012.
