Although the threat of severe weather and possible tornados caused the cancellation of the Wonderland ARTS Festival last year, the forecast is much better for Saturday when the festival returns to the streets of Warrenton.
The festival begins Saturday morning at 9 a.m. and will continue until 3 p.m.
Cindy Rivers, events coordinator for the Warren County Chamber of Commerce, said the festival will take place “rain or shine.” Last year, the festival was cancelled at 5:30 a.m. because of the threat of bad weather. Ironically, the storm never arrived and the sun came out.
The event will feature something for every one, ranging from a 10k race to a book sale.
