• Loss ends Lady Bulldogs’ season
By Jim Wallace, Correspondent

A 66-33 loss to the Southwest-Macon Patriots Tuesday night in the first round of the Class AAA playoffs ended the season for the Lady Dogs.
It was the first playoff appearance for THS in 10 years.
“In the first half, we had a very difficult time stopping their post players from scoring, regardless of the defense we played,” said Michael Williams, THS head coach, adding the team fell behind 38 -19. “In the second half we stopped the post players from scoring, but their guards began to make shots.”
Williams said the Lady Patriots made the Lady Dogs uncomfortable offensively as they played very aggressive.
“Due to their aggressiveness defensively our guards had difficulty handling the ball and it was hard to execute any plays,” said Williams.
