“Everything changes”, says Leon Fields the executive director of East Central Georgia Consortium (One Stop). However, if there is one thing that he promises will stay the same it’s the agency’s commitment to quality programs and services for all citizens and youth within the 12 county region.
East Central Georgia Consortium is responsible for administering the Workforce Investment Act, a federally funded program that seeks to increase employment, retention and earnings by providing a way for occupational skill attainment, reducing the need for state assistance dependency, increasing Georgia’s workforce productivity and ultimately improve the quality of the nation’s workforce.
