David Chalker, Sr.
David Gary Chalker, Sr., 65, of Augusta, father of Darrel, Michael, Christopher, and David Chalker, Jr., entered into rest on Feb. 13, 2013.
Graveside services were held on Sat., Feb. 16, at Bethel Methodist Church Cemetery in Gibson.

Jim Gohacki
James "Jim" Anthony Gohacki, 71, of Appling, husband of Nancy Eshleman Gohacki, entered into rest on Fri., Feb. 15, 2013.
A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. on Sun., Feb. 24, at Platt's Funeral Home, Belair Rd. Chapel, in Evans.

Holly Hadden
Florence Holland "Holly" Kemp Hadden, 57, of Gibson, wife of Larry W. Hadden, entered into rest on Sat., Feb. 16, 2013.
Celebration of life services will be held at 5 p.m. on Wed., Feb. 20, on a hillside located on the farm at 3222 County Line Rd. W in Gibson.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Tues., Feb. 19, at James Funeral Home in Wrens.

Peggy T. Jackson
Peggy Toulson Jackson, 70, of Mitchell, Ga., was formally introduced to her Savior Jesus on February 16, 2013.
She was an active member of Long Creek Baptist Church in Warrenton, Ga. Second to Peggy’s love of Jesus was her love of 52 years, her husband, Wayne Lanier Jackson; son, Bobby L. Jackson (Martha); daughter, Tracey J. Adams (Chris); and daughter, Terri J. Boyer (Neil). She had eight grandchildren, Brittany Rich (Matt), Brooke Harris (Danny), Hollie Algier (Brett), Kristin Reddick (Randall), Megan McDade (Matt), Linc Boyer, Drew Usry, Emily Usry, Lauren Adams, and Josh Adams; three great-grandchildren, Brayden Reddick, Brendon Rich, and Jackson Harris; and extended family, Chris Stowe, Stephanie Griffith, Jessica Purcell, and Nicole Purcell. Additional survivors include her sister, Betty Ann Kitchens; brothers, Ray Toulson, Sammy Toulson, and James Toulson; and many nieces, nephews, and friends too numerous to name. She was preceded in death by her father, Marvin R. Toulson; mother, Erma Skelley Toulson; brothers, Billy Toulson and Claude Toulson; and sister, Mary June Richards.
She leaves behind a legacy of faithfulness, guidance, and friendship. She touched many lives. Peggy will truly be missed.
Funeral services will be held on Tues., Feb. 19, at the Long Creek Baptist Church at 11 a.m. The Reverend Chad Crews will be officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

Edward Jones, of Lincolnton, son of Marial Jones and father of Letitia S. Jones, passed away on Sun., Feb. 10, 2013.
Memorial services will be held on Sat., Feb. 16, at 1 p.m. at Mulberry C.M.E. Church.

Annie V. Lowe
Funeral services for Annie Vastie Lowe, 73, of Mesena, will be held on Sat., Feb. 16, 2013, at 1 p.m. at Shiloh Baptist Church in Norwood. Interment will be in the church cemetery.

Joseph Lutwinski
Joseph V. "Papa Joe" Lutwinski, 71, of Boneville, entered into rest on Feb. 16, 2013.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Wed., Feb. 20, at Beggs Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will be in Westview Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Tues., Feb. 19, at the funeral home.

Ed Myers
James Edward "Ed" Myers, 77, of Washington, husband of Mary Swint Myers, died on Fri., Feb. 15, 2013.
Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. on Tues., Feb. 19, at Rehoboth Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends on Mon., Feb. 18, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Hopkins Funeral Home.

JoAnn Rabun
JoAnn Amerson Johnson Rabun, 58, of Warrenton, entered into rest on Sat., Feb. 16, 2013.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Tues., Feb. 19, at James Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will be in Mitchell Methodist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Mon., Feb. 18, at James Funeral Home.

Betty Washington
Funeral services for Betty Jean Pettis Washington, 79, of Harlem, were held on Mon., Feb. 18, 2013, at Simonia Baptist Church in Grovetown. Interment was in the church cemetery.
