• Runnin’ Bucs grab region win in double overtime

After being down by 10 in the third quarter Tuesday night at Windsor Academy, the Briarwood Academy Runnin’ Bucs fought back to win in double overtime.
“It was a huge win for us. It showed the fight our kids have,” said Briarwood Coach Bo Fleming following the 66-63 region win.
The two teams played fairly evenly in the first half. Briarwood led first quarter scoring 12-11, then Windsor countered by outscoring the Bucs 14-13 in the second quarter. At the half, the teams were tied 25-25.
Windsor controlled the minutes after the half and stretched their lead to 10 at one point as they outscored Briarwood 20-15 in the third quarter.
