• Dogs score two wins

The Thomson Bulldogs scored two wins and a loss in recent basketball games.
Thomson will begin region playoff action Wednesday in Swainsboro.
On Friday, Feb. 1, the Dogs lost a region game to Washington County 56-44. The next night, Thomson trounced Lincoln County 95-35 in a non-region game. On Tuesday night, Thomson defeated Swainsboro 80-52 in a region game.
Michael Thomas, THS head coach, said the loss to Washington County was a cold shooting night.
“We had an off-shooting night,” said Thomas. “We got good shots, but we just couldn’t make them.”
