• Bucs fall to Covenant, 51-36

The Running Bucs had problems hitting their shots Friday night when they lost 51-36 at Covenant Academy.
“We had two bad quarters again, same scenario as always for us,” said Briarwood Coach Bo Fleming.
The two teams appeared evenly matched early in the game as each scored six points in the opening quarter. But Covenant created momentum in the second as they outscored Briarwood 20-10. The Bucs trailed 26-16 heading into the half.
In the third quarter, Covenant again outscored Briarwood, 11-5. The two teams basically played evenly in the fourth quarter. Briarwood scored 15 to Covenant’s 14.
