• Boosters sell their Butts to benefit athletics

In freezing temperatures, they fired up the grills to cook for the benefit of youngsters.
Close to a dozen men found the temperature at 20 degrees when they gathered at 5 a.m. next to The Brickyard Saturday morning to cook close to 200 Boston Butts for the Thomson Bulldog Athletic Booster Club. Winds pushed the temperatures even lower.
A fire barrel and the grills provided the warmth while the men swapped stories and took turns keep an eye on the cooking.
