• Man arrested for burglary of neighbor’s residence

The bond for a Thomson man arrested for burglary of a neighbor’s home has been set at $15,000.
The Thomson Police Department took Mark S Gibson Jr., 20, of the 300 block of Manassas Drive, into custody after being called to investigate a Jan. 27 break-in at 339 Manassas Drive.
According to Sergeant Marcus Murray, who investigated the burglary, the homeowner returned to discover four rings and a watch missing from her living room, and bedroom.
