Haley Poss said she is anxious to continue her life’s experiences after signing a softball scholarship Tuesday to attend East Georgia State College in Swainsboro.
Poss joined teammate Jadah Lawson in signing scholarships at Thomson High School to play for the Lady Bobcats. The pair has played together for nearly 12 years.
She said becoming a Lady Bobcat gave her a chance to continue enjoying the small-town atmosphere.
“It seemed to best fit me, because the town is small, and I didn’t want a big campus,” Poss said. “The town is a lot like Thomson and I will be close to home which is important.”
