More than a dozen fire personnel from three entities contained a fire during heavy winds Wednesday afternoon.
Around 2 p.m., Thomson Fire Rescue, McDuffie Fire Rescue and the Georgia Forestry Commission responded to an area near the intersection of Warrenton Highway and McNeill Circle where a roadside fire had started.
