Thomson tried to keep things slowed down against Hephzibah Saturday night, but the Rebels posted a 52-33 win at the Dog House.
On Friday night, the Lady Dogs lost a region game, 48-32 at Dodge County. Thomson only scored four points in the first period and was down 27-13 at the half.
“We tried to slow the game and Hephzibah down in the first half,” said Michael Williams, Thomson coach. “That wasn’t successful for us, so we went to a faster pace in the second half. We felt we had to do something in an effort to get back in the game.”
