After a 62-57 region loss against the Dodge County Indians Friday, the Thomson Bulldogs won 74-44 over the Hephzibah Rebels Saturday at the Dog House.
The Indians led 17-8 at the end of the first period, but Thomson was only down by two points, 43-41, at the end of three periods.
THS coach Michael Thomas said Thomson trailed most of the game.
“We took the lead midway the fourth period,” said Thomas. “They got the lead back and we just never were able to get ahead again. I also think we were a bit anxious and just didn’t settle down.”
