The Thomson High School Lady Dogs are riding a three-game win streak as they work hard for region wins.
After a 58-53 win at home Tuesday night against Jefferson County, THS had a region mark of 3-2 and an overall record of 9-9. Thomson’s standing is good enough for third place in the region with three games remaining against region foes. The top three teams automatically get a bid to the state tournament.
Recently, the Lady Dogs scored a win over Swainsboro, 53-48 on Jan. 18, and a 47-40 win over non-conference Greene County on Jan. 19.
