After a disappointing loss at home Friday night, the Runnin’ Bucs bounced back with a win Saturday.
Briarwood had trouble connecting on shots Friday night, but that was not the case on Saturday.
“Last night we shot 12 of 74 from the floor, three of 32 from behind the arc. We came back today and we didn’t quit. We got after them,” Briarwood Coach Bo Fleming said Saturday night.
The first half of Saturday’s game against Windsor Academy may have been one of the Bucs’ largest offensive surges of the season so far.
Briarwood and Windsor slugged it out early. When one would score, the other would match the basket. The opening quarter ended with the teams tied, 21-21.
