Warren County will be home to a nearly $115 million industry, according to company officials of Enova Energy Group.
O.B. McCorkle, director of the Development Authority of Warren County, announced the coming Enova Wood Pellet Group plant Thursday at the Warren County Courthouse where more than 100 people gathered to hear the news.
McCorkle said the plant will locate on a nearly 250-acre site on Highway 80, just south of the industrial park. The company says the 450,000 square foot industry will provide close to 400 direct and indirect jobs.
“They plan on employing, just in Warren County, 65 direct jobs at their facility,” McCorkle told the packed courtroom. “The indirect jobs are anticipated to be upwards of 300. So this is really great news for our entire area in a 40-to-60 miles radius because it’s in the timber industry.”
