• Youngsters learn about community workers

Youngsters giggled, petted, shouted answers and learned Thursday as they interacted with people from different occupations.
The Community Helpers Program at First Baptist Church’s Cornerstone Preschool shared five vocations with close to 50 youngsters aged two to five year olds. Alice Gary, Cornerstone director, coordinated the annual event and said she was thankful for the people taking the time to visit. Some of speakers had even visited on their day off.
