The Runnin’ Bucs met stiff opposition as they stepped on the court twice over the weekend.
Friday night at home Briarwood lost 68-51 to Central Fellowship Christian Academy.
But, in the opening quarter, the Bucs matched points with the Lancers. After one quarter, the game was tied 15-15. In the second quarter, Central Fellowship edged ahead as they outscored the Bucs 13-8. By the half, Briarwood trailed 28-23.
“We had a bad second half, we didn’t play that bad in the first half,” said Briarwood Coach Bo Fleming.
