• Driver ejected, injured

A Thomson man was taken to Georgia Health Sciences Medical Center following a single vehicle accident Thursday afternoon. Georgia State Patrol Trooper First Class Ben Rollins said Michael Key, 22, of Red Bud Road, was driving a Honda Civic west on White Oak Road just east of Ginger Hill Road at close to 3:45 p.m. The vehicle left the roadway and rolled over twice ejecting Key, said Rollins. Key, who was conscious and alert at the scene, was charged with failure to maintain lane, no seat belt and tire requirement.
