• Belle Meade Hunt annual event involves youngsters in day’s hunt

Generations of fox hunters gathered at Belle Meade Hunt the Saturday before Christmas for the annual Junior Day — which featured hunting followed by fellowship and a visit from Santa.
Epp Wilson, joint Master of Foxhounds, said the annual event is always held around Christmas and is scheduled for when the hunt can have the best attendance of both children and adults.
Several families — the Wilkes, Hicks, Blounts and Exums — had three generations participate.
