Something was in the Lady Dogs’ eyes Saturday night during Thomson’s 33-27 loss to the Greene County Lady Tigers.
“It was a lack of focus,” said Michael Williams, Thomson coach. “It wasn’t anything they (the Lady Tigers) did, we just didn’t execute well.”
Thomson, 3-6, was also without starter Lakee’dra Cooper who suffered a head injury the previous night in a win against Lincoln County. Another player, Jaylan Howard was also out of action against the Lady Tigers. Shaniqua Myricks was injured in Saturday’s game but all three players should be ready for a Christmas tourney.
