McDuffie County Schools Superintendent Jim LeBrun, left, presents a check to Alan Griffin, a board member of the Augusta Chapter of the American Red Cross. Students in McDuffie County schools raised $2,897.25 for the victims of Hurricane Sandy. The check was presented during the school board’s work session earlier this month.
