Cold shooting spells led to two Thomson Lady Bulldogs losses last week.
On Friday, Thomson lost 41-27 to the Warren County Lady Screaming Devils. On Saturday, the Lady Dogs lost 40-34 to Hancock Central in the 10th Annual Old Capital Classic in Milledgeville.
“Our shot selection was poor,” said Michael Williams, THS head coach, after the Warren County game. “They didn’t press us to make us make those decisions. We had plenty of shots. We just made poor shots.”
Even though the Lady Dogs (2-4), who trailed 22-18 at halftime, didn’t score until halfway through the third period, they were in the game, trailing 28-26 at the end of the period.
