A local church has shared the story of Jesus’ birth in a unique way over the years. In helping it to flourish and evolve, efforts are made to keep things real and improving.
Thomson First Baptist Church’s “One Night in Bethlehem” drive-through nativity is traditionally a three-night event that features scenes from times of the birth of the Savior. This year, rainy weather forced cancelling Wednesday night’s presentation.
Kathie Mogish, interim director of education for the church and nativity coordinator, said dedication and behind the scenes work are keys.
