Lillian Hale Bloodworth
Lillian Hale Bloodworth, 88, of Warner Robins, Ga., went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Tues., Dec. 18, 2012.
Mrs. Bloodworth was born on May 8, 1924 in Shiloh, Ga. She was a longtime member of Second Baptist Church, where she was very active with the choir. At Second Baptist Church, she also enjoyed many activities, especially being a member of and traveling with the XYZ Senior Citizen Group. She worked at Houston Medical Center for over 20 years as a Ward Clerk. Lillian was a wonderful homemaker and loved spending time with her beloved family. Her peaceful, gentle spirit and kind disposition will be fondly remembered by all who knew her. She is preceded in death by her husband, James Thomas Bloodworth; her parents; three brothers; and four sisters.
Her memory will forever be cherished by her son, Dr. Wayne Bloodworth (Linda) of Alpharetta, Ga.; daughter, Brenda VanSant (Vic) of Thomson, Ga.; grandchildren, Levi VanSant of Charleston, S.C.; Jami VanSant Shingler of Augusta, Ga., Karla Bloodworth Riker of Decatur, Ga., Traci Bloodworth Thomas of Norcross, Ga.; sister, Joyce Baker Messer of LaGrange, Ga.; and many other extended family members and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Thurs., Dec. 20, in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with interment following in Parkway Memorial Gardens. Reverend Gary Morton will officiate. The family will greet visitors one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests that donations be made to Second Baptist Church, 2504 Moody Road, Warner Robins, Ga. 31088.

James "Jim" Murl Garner, 80, of Dearing, Ga., husband of Joyce Hobbs Garner, passed away on Sun., Dec. 16, 2012.
Funeral services will be held on Wed., Dec. 19, at 11 a.m. at Fort Creek Baptist Church & Cemetery in Dearing. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.

Thomas C. Huff
Thomas C. Huff, 75, of Thomson, Ga., husband of Doris H. Huff & father of Angie Powell & Douglas Huff, died on Tues., Dec. 18, 2012.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thurs., Dec. 20, at Reedy Creek Baptist Church & Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

Blanche Langham Lambert
Blanche Langham Lambert, 84, of Warner Robins, Ga., entered into rest on Nov. 22, 2012. She was the beloved daughter of the late Bunyan T. Sr. and Thelma Reese Langham.
Ms. Lambert is survived by her sons, Buford Julian (Martha) Lambert of Montgomery, Ala. and Wayne Stewart (Kay) Lambert of Byron, Ga. Her son, J. L. Lambert, preceded her in death. She is also survived by a sister, Waistel Thigpen; two brothers, Reese Langham and Bunyan Langham, Jr., all of Thomson and J.W. Langham of Franklin, Ala.
Ms. Lambert was a native of Thomson, Ga. She lived in Warner Robins for the past 50 years and was a member of Shirley Hill Baptist Church.
A private service was held.
Funeral services for Tremain Mickens, of Lincolnton, Ga., son of Rosie Mickens & Johnny Hamrick, will be held on Sat., Dec. 22, 2012, at 2 p.m. at Pleasant Grove CME Church. Burial will be in Antioch CME Church Cemetery.

Shirley Frances Pittman, 59, of Dearing, Ga., wife of Warren "W.H." Pittman, entered into rest Dec. 17, 2012.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Wed., Dec. 19, at Providence Baptist Church in Augusta, Ga. Interment will be in Adams Chapel Cemetery in Dearing.
Visitation will be held on Tues., Dec. 18, from 6-8 p.m. at the church.

Deborah E. Poston
Deborah Eugenia Poston, 58, mother of Jonathon Sanders, Tara E. Cruz, & the late Gernot Ruediger Betts, entered into rest on Sat., Dec. 15, 2012.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. on Wed., Dec. 19, at Bethel United Methodist Church & Cemetery in Gibson, Ga. The family will receive friends after the service.

Master John Benjamin “J.B.” Waller, of Thomson, Ga., infant son of Andy and Shawn Stribel Waller, entered into rest on Dec. 18, 2012 at University Hospital.
Graveside services will be held at 3 p.m. on Sat., Dec. 22, at Savannah Valley Memorial Gardens with Rev. David Sisler officiating.
Survivors in addition to his parents include: paternal grandparents, Jimmy and Jane Waller; maternal grandparents, John and Regina Stribel; paternal great-grandmother, Gerry Waller and maternal great-grandmother, Mamie Higdon.

Bernice Hood Welch, 81, of Dearing, Ga., entered into rest on Dec. 18, 2012. She was the beloved widow of John “Bill" Welch.
Memorial services were held at 2 p.m. on Thurs., Dec. 20, in the Chapel of Beggs Funeral Home in Thomson with Rev. Terry Joyner officiating.
Mrs. Welch was a lifelong resident of McDuffie County, Ga. She was the daughter of the late Humphrey Hood and the late Jessie Lee Hood. Mrs. Welch was retired from Thomson Company and was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was a member of Dearing Baptist Church, where she served as a First Grade Sunday School Teacher for many years.
Survivors include her children, Sonny Welch and wife Cindy, Kenneth Welch and wife Beverly, Jeff Welch and wife Melissa, all of Dearing; daughter, Jewell Neal and husband Billy of Harlem; brother, Jimmy Hood of Dearing; sister, Inez Robinson of Smithfield, Va.; grandchildren, Joey Welch, Jr., Tammy Cooler, Beverly Neal, Billy Neal, Jr., Dee Hawkins, Ken Welch, Jr., Candace Welch, Elizabeth Farley, Hannah Sparks and Jesse Welch; great grandchildren, Trey Welch, Jessie Cooler, Lauren Hawkins, Hunter Hawkins, Aaron Farley, Adalynn Sparks and Leah Farley.
