• OSHA fines Two State after fatality
By Linda Green

A McDuffie County construction company has received five citations and $13,050 in penalties following the on-site death of an employee in August.
The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) issued four serious and one other-than-serious citations to Two State Construction on Oct. 30.
The citations, which were received by Two State on Nov. 1, are the result of an Aug. 28 accident where employee Edward Leon Chambers died after a mounted, bridge crane hoist struck him.
