Although the Lady Bucs came home with a win Tuesday night, winning against Thomas Jefferson Academy had proven to be a challenge.
“I was shocked. I didn’t know they had those kinds of shooters,” said Lady Bucs Coach Keith Johnson. “I give them credit, they were lighting it up.”
At the end of three quarters, the game was tied 40-40.
But, the Lady Bucs outscored their opponent 17-12 in the fourth quarter to seal the win 57-51.
“We pulled away in the end, but it was scary,” said Johnson. “They played us tough.”
