The McDuffie County School Board heard presentations earlier this week from four companies wanting to manage construction of a new Norris Elementary School.
The firms seeking the contract are RA-LIN and Associates, of Carrollton; Dublin Construction Group, of Dublin; Parrish Construction, of Perry; R.W. Allen, of Athens.
The firm that lands the deal would serve in a similar role to that of Parrish Construction, which managed the renovations and construction at The Brickyard.
The chosen company would serve as construction manager for the school district for a maximum of five years.
