Two dairy farmers from Dearing are featured in a national, multimedia, interactive campaign that highlights getting milk from the cow to the supermarket.
Brothers Mark and Andrew Rodgers of Hillcrest Farms are part of dedicatedtodairy.com, an effort to show where and how dairy foods are produced. The campaign focuses on economic impact, environment practices and animal husbandry.
Hillcrest Farms is a 1,200-acre family-run operation. Located on Iron Hill Road, it has deep roots in the dairy industry and is one of two dairy farms remaining in McDuffie County.
