• City tree arrives

Workers were busy straightening the city’s Christmas tree Monday morning. With smaller trees placed downtown and the lighted decorations up, the community prepares for a host of Festival Off Main activities that begin with the lighting of the tree Thursday night at 6:15 p.m. On Saturday morning, the Depot Dash 5k Run-Walk will be on the streets at 9 a.m. From 9-4 p.m., arts and crafts will be the focus in the Railroad Street area. At 5 p.m., the Tour of Homes will make the rounds with refreshments served at the Chamber of Commerce on Main Street. On Sunday, streets will fill with color and music at 3 p.m., as the “Tis the Season“ parade celebrates the season.
