Susie K. Adaway
Susie K. Adaway, 92, of Thomson, Ga., went home peacefully to be with the Lord on Nov. 11, 2012.
Funeral services were held on Mon., Nov. 19, at Mt. Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church and Cemetery.
The family received friends at Thomson Funeral System on Sun., Nov. 18.

Frieda G. Connally
Frieda Genevieve Connally, 84, school teacher, went to be with her Lord on Nov. 16, 2012. Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. on Tues., Nov. 20, at Cana Baptist Church in Burleson. Interment was in Ash Creek in Azle. Visitation was held from 6-8 p.m. on Mon., Nov. 19, at Mountain Valley Funeral Home in Joshua. Genny was born March 9, 1928, in Azle, Texas, to Joe V. and Ione Gross Rider. She was a school teacher for Fort Worth ISD for 23 years. Genny was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She loved her home, traveling, sewing, people and loved her Lord. She was a member and very involved with Cana Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by: daughter, Jill Henderson; and two grandchildren. Survivors: husband, Tharon Connally of Burleson; children, James Henderson III, Jan Heath, Joni Henderson, Wesley Connally and wife Pongsiri, Lori Lollis and husband Blake, Annell Stevens and husband Wes, Sylvia Ware and husband Chris; 13 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews and extended family and friends.

Thelma Hefner
Thelma Hefner, 88, of Martinez, Ga., passed away on Nov. 6, 2012. Thelma was born in Heburn on Tyne, England on March 22, 1924.
Thelma was married on Dec. 7, 1948 to her surviving spouse, Roy L. Hefner (CMDSGTMAJ - Retired U.S Army). Thelma was the mother of three sons, Alan (deceased) and is survived by sons, James and Edward. She is also survived by two grandsons, three granddaughters, five great grandchildren and two great great grand children. She is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews both in the U.S. and England.
A service was held in her memory limited to family and a few close friends on Tues., Nov. 20, 2012.

William C. Holley
William C. Holley, 87, of Wrens, Ga., entered into rest on Thurs., Nov. 15, 2012.
Funeral services were held on Sun., Nov. 18, at Wrens Baptist Church. Interment followed in Wrens Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
The family received friends at James Funeral Home on Sat., Nov. 17.

Dorothy McNair
Dorothy McNair, 90, of Warrenton, Ga., entered into rest on Tues., Nov. 13, 2012.
Funeral services were held on Fri., Nov. 16, at Mt. Beulah Baptist Church and Cemetery.

Alton Ware Thompson
Alton Ware Thompson, 77, of Little Brier Creek Church Road in Warrenton, Ga., entered into rest on Nov. 15, 2012 in Augusta, Ga. Mr. Thompson was the husband of the late Barbara Yvonne Thompson.
Graveside services were held at 2 p.m. on Sun., Nov. 18, from the Little Brier Creek Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Randy Dunaway officiating.
Mr. Thompson was a lifelong resident of Warren County. He was the retired co-owner and operator of Thompson Brotherís Dairy. Mr. Thompson was a member of Little Brier Creek Baptist Church.
Survivors include his daughter, Tammy Stegall and husband John of Jacksonville, Fla.; son, Tommy Thompson of Warrenton, Ga.; and granddaughter, Ashley Christine Stegall.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
The family received friends on Sat., Nov. 17, at the funeral home.
Beggs Funeral Home, Thomson, was in charge of arrangements.

Edna E. Wilson
Edna E. Wilson, 87, of Thomson, Ga., entered into rest on Wed., Nov. 14, 2012.
Funeral services were held on Sat., Nov. 17. Burial followed at Magnolia Cemetery.
The family received friends on Fri., Nov. 16, at Platt's Funeral Home.
